We work as wholesale business and have a list of great suppliers across Scotland and the UK who sell our venison.
Please get in touch for suppliers in your area.
We find that red deer isn’t that gamey but there are different options that people do prefer, such as early season deer (stags haven’t developed the “gamey” taste) or waiting till the hinds come into season as these normally have a milder flavour.
We have a full traceability system in place that allows us to be able to trace our deer from the estate where they have been harvested through to the final customer. All our estates are audited and checked throughout the year to ensure compliance and we only collect from estates that have wild deer.
As a guide portion is 200g – 225g per person of boneless meat and 300g – 340g per person for bone in cuts. But this is personal preference and should only be used as a guide.
We are always looking at expanding our suppliers and welcome new members to the team, we offer support and advice in regard to larder management and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
We have a dedicated collection team, we ask that you let us know what you have in your larder and we will arrange for our team to collect.
Payments are made on the 15th of each month.
We can butcher, process and return to you any deer that you wish to have, however we cannot do this during our busy seasons so better to phone and book this in advance to check availability. (Not available during October, November & December).
I work in a wholesale business, and we are interested in buying your venison, are you open to new buyers?
We work with multiple stockists in and across Europe and into the middle east, we are thrilled to be able to share our great products internationally.
We use overnight delivery services such as FedEx for smaller orders and transport companies for large orders. Small, posted orders are packed with plenty of ice packs to ensure they stay chilled throughout the journey. Small orders are dispatched Mon-Wed only.
